- Acting as your resort contact for vendors and guests who may have questions
- Providing recommendations of trusted, specialty vendors for all of your wedding needs
- Turning your dreams and wishes into banquet event orders and an itinerary to properly execute your big day
- Creating a visual diagram of your reception rooms, set up and design to assist you for your seating assignments
- Providing you with an updated estimate for your event and scheduled payment guidelines
- Contacting your vendors prior to the event to coordinate arrival times and setup needs
- Coordinating a rehearsal with you and your wedding party for their wedding roles
On your wedding day, your Surf & Sand Resort Catering Manager will be available to assist you in:
- Setting your favors, place cards and specialty wedding items
- Coordinating the arrival of your vendors and guiding them in the setup process
- Overseeing the ceremony and reception setup
- Lining up the wedding party and coordinating your wedding ceremony
- Guiding guests from ceremony to reception
- Coordinating with your DJ/emcee for introductions and schedule of events
- Introducing you to the Banquet Captain who will be there to assist you for the remainder of the reception
A professional Wedding Coordinator will:
- Assist with etiquette and protocol for invitations, seating, family matters and toasts
- Assist with event design ideas, inspiration and planning
- Create a timeline for your entire wedding day
- Be the liaison between your family and wedding party and guests
- Ensure everything is seamless for the couple and wedding party
- Stay until the conclusion of the wedding and assist in packing and moving personal items
